SUMMER WORKSHOPS

This summer Altered Esthetics is offering a variety of workshops intended to stimulate, relieve, protect and contemplate the creative mind and body.

YOGA FOR ARTISTS

Enhance your creativity and improve your health through Raja Yoga. In this workshop you will learn yoga techniques to improve concentration, keep the body healthy and the senses heightened. The teachings, from the Himalayan Tradition of Yoga Science and Philosophy, are taught as they were for the past 4000 years and include postures, breathing, meditation, relaxation and practices to rid toxins from the body.

About the Instructor: Mary has taught for over 20 years, is a registered member of the Yoga Alliance and has completed 600 hours of training in the Himalayan Tradition here in Northeast Minneapolis and in Rishikesh, India. An artist herself, she realizes the importance of clearing the mind of clutter, keeping the body in shape for making art and the hazards artists are exposed to from the materials they use. This class is useful for beginners and experienced, artists and non-artists.
