Resident Artists
Guidelines Qualifications: To qualify as a Resident
Artist in the 2008 exhibit you must have been shown or volunteered
at Altered Esthetics’ during at least four shows (does not have
to be consecutive).
Submission of Work: If you are interested in
submitting work to a Resident Artists show please fill out the standard
submission guidelines form listing "Resident Artists" as

Selection of Work: Resident Artists will be chosen based on the quality of the works submitted, the number of submission received, the space available for showing works, the size/length of works and the gallery’s ability to accommodate them, the artists’ fulfillment of requirements and show content and cohesiveness. The curator of the Resident Artists show or Gallery Director reserves the right to select works using their best judgment, and reserves the right to refuse entrance to artists as needed.
Resident Artists
receive: - A webpage with room for a brief artists’ biography/statement and page featuring works shown at Altered Esthetics (to be listed indefinitely with the Resident Artists’ page.) - All other regular exhibit benefits as listed in the submission guidelines, including the opportunity to sell works (70% artist, 30% gallery commission) - An invitation to the Artists' pre-opening Reception event. |
