These small oil paintings are part of a series of thirty-five which I did between 2004 and 2006.

Some are objects, some landscapes, some figures. A few combine food and factories

due to my living near the Excel Energy Plant in Northeast Minneapolis.

Just across the street from the plant is a large community garden,

mostly vegetables, which I think is very strange.
