Just about everybody has been through their own version of tragedy. As artists, we deal with these things in a very personal way, and express ourselves through our painting, our poetry, our sculpting, our art. At the beginning of 2005, Altered Esthetics hosted a group where artists' displayed how they use art as a tool and as a way of dealing with personal tragedies. This show was inspired by those going through a very severe time of need, specifically those affected by the 2004 tsunami tragedy.
