In a world overtaken by image-based information technology, the meaning of image has changed radically in the past few decades. An image is no longer a mere representation, but an accumulation of information that shapes the present consciousness. The new visual language exists in a fluid state between reality and illusion. Seen Unseen explores this state of conscious flux by presenting text as braille as a visual rather than a tactile form. The text used for braille in Seen Unseen are parts of the poetry "The Investigations" from Chilean poet Pablo Neruda.
