This book has travelled the world in an international sketchbook exchange called "moly_x", http://www.flickr.com/groups/moly_x/ . The artwork was done by myself and four other artists: Cristiano Lissoni, Italy Jose Antonio Gonzalez, España Lynne Lamb, UK Occam`s razor: Joyce, Taiwan Ramires, Brasil Each artist started with a Japanese Fold Pocket Moleskine. We each had a theme for our book. The theme for this book is USA: Red, White & Blue. Each artist made an entry and sent it to the next person via snail mail, who in turn made an entry and passed it to the next person, and so on until the books were filled. As corny as the USA theme may seem in an international sketchbook exchange, it is interesting to see that most have a bittersweet feeling about the US of A. To look at this book, one might think that the US of A is all about entertainment and war. No doubt, these artists were being polite, but there is definately a love/hate thing going on, mostly love.
