Chromatic Form research with a Clematis

My work is based on a firm belief that art ought to change status, become less gray and commercial , be more selective and not only aim to sell itself to the media ,I am convinced that artists are not supposed to be superstars ,works of art should reach the stars and shine down on our brains and souls, giving us all the color , the beauty and the concept of our days. I want my work to remind the looker that something really different can be achieved deep down inside, I want it to open hearts and minds. God created our world ,this world, He didn’t mean to create robots ,human race creates robots because robots don’t discuss decisions , they do what is ordered to them and cause no problems , some people would love to transform everyone in robots but this of course is not possible , thank God we are all different, with different minds, different cultures, different everything, I couldn’t think of a world full of robots, it would be so empty and dull ! When I went to Sulmona AQ for a day trip I saw these lovely flowers that gave me the idea for this work. In nature there is not a leaf, a flower, a tree or an animal exactly the same as another, why should we think human race should be different? We are part of nature with all the differences that make this world so wonderful! We have although something that makes us all brothers: We have hearts, souls, feelings ... The task of an artist is to celebrate all this, I feel this is my task when I work, I always have God and His creation in mind . I love painting nature with brilliant colours to cheer up everybody’s days. There was a time when I used to think that the best way of making art was that of illustrating the dark grey and terrible things I feel about what happens in the world, but now I like to look at the many positive things that the world has to offer. When the sun shines everything looks different, I want to bring a ray of sun in the lives of the persons that look at my work.at i
