This self-portrait is a reference of my personal struggle with womanhood. My figurative sculptural book is made of clay and paper. The use of mixed medias documents my emotional fingerprint uniquely. Clay’s strong character acts as a protective structure, housing delicate pages. Paper’s fibrous nature absorbs my precious narrative. There is contrast in the strength and texture of the materials, that visually speaks about my public and private life as a woman.
