This is a painting about time and choices. Maybe it’s more about being overwhelmed…. There’s always too much of one thing and not enough of another. It’ about getting older and those decisions they suddenly start serving on the side of your birthday cake instead of ice cream. It’s about wanting that ice cream anyway even though now it just makes you fat.
