A Soldiers Story: Home

A Soldiers Story is about ones mans struggle to balance the many different parts of himself. In his heart he longs for a home, not necessarily a home in the physical sense but a home within himself where he can be free of his earthly prison. He wants so much to do his duty and to be a hero that he loses himself and his innocence. Within this drawing I have depicted the multiple sides of the soldier as a ghost who seeks to find his inner child. This drawing is apart of my "Ascension Collection" and was created as a way of showing the inner turmoil behind the outward illusion within our everyday lives.
