Demons and Guardians

We have thoughts, feelings, history, and knowledge; all of these affect our response to situations. This painting shows a woman surrounded on all sides by demons, aliens, and people in prayer or respite. It is through struggle that we come to know ourselves, and form relationships with others,it can be isolating, and electrifying. The lens through which we react is multidimensional, I sought to represent the layers of form that comprise our thoughts of both demons and guardians, that which we think helps and hinders us along this journey.
