For my father, Frank, Spain was an important creative time in his life. Looking back I have had several periods of creative inspirations. In the 1980s I began phtographing the rural symbols and archetypes I saw from my Norfth Dakota, Mapleton, Mn and Wisconsin family sources. This old Volks was parked in Marcie's ( same shown at woodpile) garage. During the night a storm blew by creating this unusual pattern on the car's surface.
