Both my father, Frank Agar, and I have shared the interest of a portrait within an environment that adds to the personality of the subject. Natural light, on location photography always came easily to both of us. The previous portrait of William Forbes, Sanitation Engineer, would be coupled with this image of Jose. The portrait of Jose was made as he looked through his car symbolic of his years of working as a bus and cab driver in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain.
