This is the house I grew up in with a mom, dad, and 4 sisters in Jackson, Mississippi. It was always a struggle and always a blessing at the same time growing up in west Jackson. The ironic thing - we were poor and I never realised it, I was content. 451 Willaman Street was the address and I gave this original image to my parents for Christmas this year - They now live in a much nicer neighborhood in the 'burbs where you can actually walk down the street without fear of getting mugged or catching a stray bullet.
