This Painting was entered into an online art show called "Unmentionables: The Underwear Show" It was accompanied by the following statement. "Using undergarments as a form of subtle communication, has been a long standing tradition in relationships. Often the style and manner in which the undergarments are displayed speaks volumes with out the person having to say one word. You know how the evening will proceed if your female counterpart comes to bed in grandma style panties and a flannel nightgown. When she has on the spiffy red panties....oh yeah, big guy....tonight's the night." It was rejected for being "inappropriate" Although the people in charge of submissions agreed, that the painting fit the show's theme, and that the write up was "perfect" it was still pulled. The reason given, was that they did not want to "offend" the many patrons and members that would be viewing the show.
