Through My Mothers Eyes The pretty, delicate, calm and demure blue bird with strong and unwavering tree limbs for arms represents my mother. She is balancing three eggs and has one large egg inside of her. The egg inside of her represents my brother; still very close to home in every aspect. The two smaller eggs represents my older sister, and myself more independent but still very dependent on the nurturing love of our mother. The egg supported by the strong tree arms symbolizes my other sister. She is staring at the sun. The view of this universal symbol represents my mother and my sister’s unbreakable bond. They may not understand one another’s decisions and may adamantly disagree on many things pertaining to life and the path we individually choose nothing can deny the long lasting love between the two that will never waver nor fall. The tree with the crow sitting ever watchful over the bird and its nest represents my father… always a good provider, always dependable, yet always loving from a distance. The orbs of various colors represents the six grandchildren my mother has and the colors showering all about the sky represent the immense joy that the grandchildren have brought to the bird and the crow.
