David Diesing is a working photographer living in Red Hook, Brooklyn. His background is in Fine Art and Architecture photography, and he is currently working in the fashion and travel industry. He has been working as a photographers assistant for many photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Todd Eberle, and 8 years with Steven Meisel. Diesing graduated from the University of Dayton, OH with a BFA and worked many years for the National Park Service (HABS/HAER) documenting historical American industrial sites in many states of decay. This work is archived in the Library of Congress. His background in cycling was started in the early 80’s "the wool shorts era" with the Dayton Cycling Club racing team. His fellow team mates have included Olypians Scott Berryman (track star), Olympian Janelle Parks and National Champ Gary Garrelle. His coach was Ken Hart (Blauvelt) who is now the acting manager of the Major Taylor Velodrome in Indianapolis. He also worked many years in high end racing bike shops as a mechanic extending his passion for high performance racing bikes.
