"FASHION FOR FASCISTS (BUSH)" and FASHION FOR FASCISTS (HITLER IN BLUE) are both part of an ongoing collection of works depicting infamous political figures in drag and other fashion atrocities. Much like Marcel Duchamp's L.H.O.O.Q., these works are a form of defiant graffiti where the image of the fascist ruler is degraded and made to appear foolish. This act of civil disobedience is designed to take power away form the subject. The art is Guerrilla in nature because the art is an act of protest, but rather than feeding the viewer with a didactic message the works encourage the viewers the re-examine their position on the subject. "is this someone I should fear?" "Does this silly man really have power over me?"
