Bavataka is a self-published novel with an underlying theme that the Drug War in the U.S. was begun based on lies (like Vietnam and Iraq wars), has been conducted with unconstitutional lies, has undermined respect for the law in its attempt to legislate morality, and harms rather than protects children by having drugs distributed by an easily accessible unregulated underground that spawns violent turf wars. The theme is woven through a story of reincarnation, a panoply of sexuality, and mysticism. Bavataka speaks truth to power with insight rather than the uninformed prejudice and bombast so prevalent in today’s political arena.
