This piece was based on the subject of sin. Along with that, I did my own research on sin and incorporated pieces from my other work. I pieced together my own thoughts onto a book that I had bought to unveil and express the power, emotion, mystery and story telling. The objects are wedged in as fragments that remain as part of the physical, emotional, and spiritual value. I create reality, in different mind sets, sacrifices, and choices that lead us to life or death. The cover was approached in many different ways, melting plastic with complementary colors, scraping, and again, incorporating my own pieces and a couple different objects. I created an undesirable road, a journey that some of us may get caught into by the power of sin. This journey is represented as a railroad track that can go either way. - Danielle Knudson Through series of digital montages, I explore sin and decadence in the every day. This materializes as a hybrid between the absurdity/ horrors of reality and the fantasies/nightmares of the dream world.
