Through my art, I express my love of life, of the land and our wild open spaces. I believe we need to preserve what little remains of our wilderness and the diversity of all creatures and people, for it is that which makes life meaningful and interesting, I believe life is a mystery wrapped in many exteriors, lovely and ugly. I prefer to paint the beauty in life and I find it in unexpected places, in a horse's back, weeds on a sky. My goal is to give beauty and peace to the beholder.
