Sin is inevitable in life, and if one were to attempt to avoid it they would be denying their own humanity. My work is about that regretful moment after one realizes they have sinned. This moment is bittersweet because the experience of the sin has given you a possible moment of ecstasy or joy followed by an immediate regret or sorrow. It is in this mix of emotions that one can find their own values, and these values help to define a part of themselves. Sin is therefor essential for growth.
