| Kawasaki: Two Bikes
is one of a series of photographs by Joan Rosenstein in which
the artist juxtaposes the figure with props selected for their
symbolic value. Here, the male biker, masked by sunglasses &
wearing his riding boots, confronts us with great seriousness.
In doing so, he becomes just another object like the motorcycle
he commands. He is unaware that in an ironic twist, the artist
included a small child’s bike in the picture to humorously
suggest "boys & their toys…" |
