I love collaboration. It forces me out of a private, singular
artistic space and into a process that is more challenging and
transformative. Plus, it provides external gratification, and
lord knows we all use that. The flirting of thoughts and creative
interpretation, and the final click-aha! When ideas merge among
artists it is like having simultaneous orgasms. Oh, yes. This
is why I like theatre, and why I liked working on the play 10
- Speed - Revolution. These are the costume designs for Walking
Shadow Theatre Company's production of 10-Speed-Revolution, written
by John Carl Heimbuch and directed by Amy Rummenie. It's a show
about 3 anarchist bike punks who start a revolution in Minneapolis
when their collective bicycle is stolen. Anna, Max, and Jake are
the central heroes of revolution, comedy, and destruction. Viva
